Main Rules of our weight loss diet

Our weight loss program is based strictly at South Beach Diet Plan, as we already mentioned. This means that we’ve decided to follow some main rules of this plan, and this is VERY effective (and we tend to celebrate our meals more than before diet).

Here are those basic rules that will help you lose some weight:

This diet plan is divided into 3 phases, which differ in length and menu. Their are planned for a long term diet plan in order to keep you fit and healthy:

1st phase lasts only 2 weeks and is most difficult, it has the longest list of what you CAN’T eat. On this phase people on average lose about 9-10 lbs (4 kg), I lost twice as much.

2nd phase is the main one - it lasts until you have reached your dreamed weight, it’s a little less conservative - the list of “CAN’T eat” is shorter here :) Weight loss is little slower than in the phase one. But on average you can lose about 2 lbs per week (that’s 1 kg). After 6 weeks of this phase I’ve lost another 16 lbs.

3rd phase - the Holy Grail of the South Beach. When you reach this phase you should be very happy with The New You and your eating habits should be far different than those before the diet. There is no list of what you can’t eat - but you shouldn’t return to bad habits.

You should eat 4-5 times a day. Because of our work schedules we eat 4 times in a day. Remember that it’s bad to eat later than 3 HOURS BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP (and that’s one of the all-diets’ rules).

You can almost as much as you wish - you shouldn’t be hungry! You can eat as many eggs as you want. In first phase of our diet plan we ate 4 eggs daily and now (in the 2nd phase) we eat 3 eggs per day.

You can eat meat, fish and many vegetables. In 2nd and 3rd phase you can also eat some fruits.

And that’s basically it! Along with the TWO important lists of what you can eat and what’s forbidden in current phase you are ready!

Yes it is THAT easy - few rules and two list of GOOD and BAD food. Ever heard that simple solutions works best? Well here it is - I really wouldn’t believe it if someone would have told me that I will lose 34 lbs (15.5 kg) in eight weeks. But now I’AM SAYING THIS to others and some of our friends went for it.

One important note - in this diet plan weight loss is proportional to body mass. I will post some details about this later (along with some graph to illustrate it).

  1. Can you please tell me where can I find the list of thing I can’t eat in each phase? I really would like to try your weight loss programm, I’ve changed my life a lot and now I excercise and eat better but I can’t seem to lose 20 pounds. Please contact me and tell me!
